Margaret Gray Tribute, December 7, 2009

Thank you to everyone who attended the Margaret Gray Tribute at Bellingham High School!  We had a wonderful turnout of alumni from 1939 to 1958.   My Darling Anna - Letter from Fairhaven 1890 - "The Life, Love & Legacy of W.R. Gray, Pioneer Physician."  Margaret is a big part of her father's legacy to our community!

The surprise of the event was learning that one of Margaret's students, Galen Biery Jr, (son of late historian Galen Biery) has a box of even more letters from Will Gray!  He has not looked at them in years.  We are hoping to find letters FROM Anna!   Co-authors Griffin and Nelson will be taking those letters immdiately to scan and donate to the Washington State Archives: Northwest Region.  We will update you on what we find!
